Disable copying in pdf document?
Hi. I need to copy protect a PDF file without a password and encryption in it. I tried convering options in word and online tools, but I dont see any options other than password protections. How can I do this?
Without password protection, you can’t stop anyone from copying a PDF. You can still convert the text elements as images and embed them back into PDF, but that cant stop others printing it and copying it.
Making it an image should do. I just need protection from clipboard copying.
Convert the text layers into low res images. Slap a watermark and you might prevent some OCRs getting it right.
