Mozilla, the organisation that revamped Netscape into a worldwide open browser called Firefox is now stepping into the smartphone universe. Along with its motto to make the world free, the Firefox phones are about to hot the market soon. For now, the developer preview phones are available to have a peek at it.

Open Everything

Mozilla says that the Firefox smartphones are more concentrated on providing a better OS platform for developers to create their own HTML based apps and make it accessible free and open to the entire world. Indeed, the operating platform itself is based on HTML5 web programming language. This statement will make the programmers to feel like a happy-go-lucky guy, if he has been waiting for using HTML5 in an entirely different way, to create apps for this smartphone.
